Spent all yesterday at CRUBA by MIRA BECKER photographing their store (for you who don't remember; they are the ones who made my beautiful wedding dress). We have been waiting for beautiful morning sunlight and yesterday we finally got it! I'm not done editing the photos yet, I always take A LOT of photos, but I will post some of them here when I am finished:) I have to go and pack now, are off to Norway tomorrow:) Have a nice weekend!

BUSINESS CARDS

Right before Christmas E and I went to the CHRISTMAS MARKET at GENDARMENMARKT ... to get BUSINESS CARDS. I googled business cards and Berlin and found this one guy that seemed perfect ..but his workshop was situated way outside the city center ...but then suddenly I see that for the whole of December he would be at the Christmas market at Gendarmenmarkt ...making business cards.. LUCK! He makes them in the old fashion way, with a letter press and everything ..and when we went to his booth he was proud to let me know that he had two fonts with the Norwegian letter Ø.  I was all in all very happy about the cards ..and getting them made at a Christmas market, a nice way to do business:)

NEW BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS FROM MY FAVORITE FLOWER SHOP

Inside the MARKTHALLE on BERGMANNSTRAßE there is a small FLOWER SHOP called MANCHERLEIGRÜN GbR ...that I LOVE (it's where I found the flowers that I ended up using for my wedding bouquet). They have the most beautiful flowers  ...often ones I have never seen before ...but the thing I love the most is the way they display their flowers. They put together beautiful unlikely combinations of colors an shapes ..in big buckets. If I was rich I would always have big buckets of flowers..

INSPIRATION

This beautiful BOOK I got from my friend HANNE for my birthday. It weighs a ton (or more like 4,4 kilos ... but that's enough when you are bringing it in your luggage ...after Christmas... from BERGEN to BERLIN). First I didn't think I would be able to bring it... for bringing it would mean an extra piece of luggage ..something I have asked E many times if we can bring when we're leaving NORWAY.. but that has always been kind of politely overruled (something I have respected since after all it would be him in the end carrying it the four floors up to our apartment) BUT this time it was magically OK. Ok, lets face it, not really magically- it had everything to do with a certain magnum bottle of CHAMPAGNE that E was starting to realize would not come home with us unless we booked an extra piece. But who cares about the reason when you get to come home and get inspiration from this book ...and on top of that look forward to drinking that bottle of champagne some time in the near future.

STARTING THE YEAR BY TAKING A CLOSER LOOK AT GERMAN PORCELAIN..

Back in BERLIN, but haven't really had the chance to see much more than THE INSIDE OF THE TOILET BOWL ..and the ceiling above our bed. Was greeted by a food poisoning and an apartment with a non functioning internet, probably good for New Years resolution to start eating and drinking less ( ..less than I have been for these last three weeks in BERGEN.. To stay at your parents house (where food equals love) for this long ...around Christmas, is not a good idea if you love food as much as I do, have the will power of a fat kid in a candy store ...and ever wanna fit into your jeans again), but bad for New Years resolution to start working efficiently as soon as getting back to Berlin. But today it's all looking much brighter; the internet is up working and we have made delicious smoothies. So here we go, it feels like the 2012 show is finally on the road!

JACOB IN MARIUS

I think the Norwegian MARIUS knitting pattern in soooo nice and I love these pictures of JACOB in his MARIUS SET. At our cabin we keep two big MARIUS sweaters that my grandmother knitted for my parents ...but that all of us now wear. I have always been a big fan of the classic version in BLUE, WHITE and RED, but then my friend CHARLOTTE told me the other day that she was making one for her self in two shades of grey and white ...so now I'm thinking that will look very good too, totally different, but really beautiful in a very calm and classic way ..and I kind of wish that she was a super hero knitting genius that could knit me one too ..like right away;)
