NICE FLYER, NICE PLACE
Last week a friend of mine here in Berlin, PAMELA COHN, invited me to a film screening at DIREKTORENHAUS, were she had curated the evening's program. I only got to see the last film OCTOBER COUNTRY, a beautiful, sad, tragic and funny documentary about an American family 'struggling for stability while haunted by the ghost of war, teen pregnancy, foster care and child abuse'. This film was in itself worth the trip, but I was also glad I went because of the DIREKTORENHAUS' new beautiful space, including a little charming bar with a fantastic GLASS EAGLE CHANDELIER LIKE LAMP hanging from the ceiling. I was therefore glad to see that they are having an opening this Thursday so that I can go back and try out their bar, once again check out their nice space and see what they have in store this time.

TEPPICH IM SCHUH
This week AUTUMN hit BERLIN, HARD. After a beautiful weekend the weather decided to turn cold and wet, and with this cold, I of course caught a COLD. BUT I also got the best 'stay in doors' present to match my cold, that made it all not so bad: the newest issue of VOGUE, a super soft, light grey WOOL BLANKET and dark blue WOOL SOCKS from FALKE with the catchy slogan 'TEPPICH IM SCHUH' (which means just what you might have guessed, teppe i sko, or carpet in shoe). I by the way recommend visiting FALKE'S website to have a look at at the picture of a male model PETTING a WOLF WEARING NOTING but BRIGHT PINK KNEE HIGH SOCKS. That picture, together with the present, made my day.
