ICH SPRECHE NICHT DEUTSCH, ABER ICH LERNE... So I finally took the step and signed up for German classes. Have been here in BERLIN for almost half a year now so thought it was about time. So the VOLKSSCHULE in PRENZLAUER BERG is now my day time hang out place. It is a really nice neighborhood so am looking forward to spending early autumn days there. I am also of course looking forward to speaking better german.. Yesterday I finished my homework at the dining table before dinner.. felt very much like a child sitting there with my working book with small cartoon drawings, trying to fill in the correct words, but it is kind of charming, BACK TO SCHOOL. |
